부경대학교가 학생들의 전공‧교양 지식은 물론, 주도적 학습능력 등 ‘핵심역량’을 키우기 위한 진단도구를 개발해 관심을 모은다. 부경대 미래교육혁신본부(본부장 김동준)는 1월 29일 오후 학술정보관 2층 영상세미나실에서 ‘PKNU 핵심역량 진단도구 개발 최종 보고회’를 개최했다. 부경대 미래교육혁신본부는 지난해 9월부터 진행해 온 핵심역량 진단도구 개발을 완료하고, 이날 김영섭 총장 등 교무위원과 교수, 학생 등 참석자를 대상으로 발표했다. 부경대가 이번에 개발한 핵심역량 진단도구는 재학생들의 △주도적 학습 △통섭적 사고 △확산적 연계 △협력적 소통 △문화적 포용 △사회적 실천 등 6가지 핵심역량을 측정하는 전문 도구다. ‘무엇을 알고 있나?’를 진단하기 위해 시험을 치는 것처럼, 이 핵심역량 진단도구는 ‘무엇을 할 수 있나’를 진단하기 위한 도구다. 주도적 학습능력을 측정하기 위한 K-CESA 등 기존 대학생 역량 진단검사만으로는 부경대만의 인재상 구현에 한계가 있다고 보고 개발에 나선 것. 부경대는 이 진단도구를 활용해 학생들의 핵심역량을 직접 진단하고, 진단결과 부족한 역량을 확인해 이를 강화할 수 있는 각종 비교과프로그램 안내하는 등 학생들의 역량을 키워준다. 이를 위해 이 진단도구를 탑재하고 학생들의 개인별 역량을 진단한 뒤 맞춤형 비교과프로그램을 추천하는 통합관리 시스템도 구축할 계획이다. 김동준 미래교육혁신본부장은 “학생들이 이번에 개발한 진단도구를 활용해 부족한 역량을 스스로 인식하고, 자발적으로 역량을 키울 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다.”고 말했다. 한편 부경대는 최근 ‘부경인’이라는 인재상을 새로 정립하고, 이를 구현할 수 있는 6대 핵심역량을 강화하기 위한 다양한 사업을 추진하고 있다. <부경투데이> Pukyong National University draws attention by developing a diagnostic tool for developing 'core competencies' such as students' major and liberal arts knowledge as well as leading learning ability. Only the existing university student's competency diagnosis test, such as K-CESA, to measure the leading learning ability has limited the realization of talented people in Pukyong National University. Pukyong National University uses these diagnostic tools to directly diagnose students' core competencies, and provide students with various comparison and program programs to identify and reinforce the lack of diagnosis results. Fort this, the university plans to build an integrated management system that incorporates this diagnostic tool, diagnoses students' individual competencies, and recommends customized comparisons and programs. Kim Dong-joon, director of the Division of Future Education Innovation, said, “We expect students to recognize the lack of competency by using the diagnostic tool developed this time and expect it will be an opportunity to voluntarily develop students' own capacities.” On the other hand, Pukyong National University has recently established a new talent image called 'Pukyong people' and is pursuing various projects to reinforce the six core competencies that can be implemented. <Pukyong Today> |
