국립부경대, 학생 창업동아리 지식재산권 42건 달성 ‘주목’
- 1년간 특허 12건·디자인 2건·상표 10건·저작권 18건 출원 및 등록

국립부경대학교(총장 배상훈)는 지난 2025학년도 학생 창업동아리 활동을 통해 지식재산권 출원·등록 총 42건을 달성했다고 밝혔다. 12개 창업동아리가 특허 12건, 디자인 2건, 상표 10건, 저작권 18건이라는 성과를 거뒀다.
국립부경대는 RISE사업단(단장 하명신)을 중심으로 ‘PKNU 창업동아리 활동 지원’과 ‘기술기반형 창업동아리 지원’ 사업을 운영하며 학생들이 아이디어 단계에서 지식재산권 확보까지 이어지는 창업 경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 지원했다.
특히 다양한 분야에서 실제 사업화 가능성이 높은 특허들이 잇따라 출원되며 눈길을 끌었다.
‘리퓨오션’ 팀은 해양수산 분야에서 활용 가능한 먹이 생물 배양 장치 시스템을 특허로 출원했고, ‘파이오넥스’ 팀은 AI 기반 빈집 매칭 플랫폼 기술을 개발해 지역 빈집 문제 해결과 창업을 결합한 아이디어를 선보였다. 또 ‘오아시스’ 팀은 다방향 멀티스틱 및 가변형 수중 배터리 시스템, ‘느림’ 팀은 육식성 반수생 거북용 맞춤형 사료 조성물, ‘사포타’ 팀은 어류용 마취 조성물, ‘FYO’ 팀은 다중 위험요인 통합 안전관리 시스템, ‘차림’ 팀은 바이오차 기반 토양개량제 조성물, ‘비몽자몽’ 팀은 다중 반응성 스마트 패키징 필름 제조방법 등을 특허로 출원했다.
브랜드와 콘텐츠 분야에서도 성과가 이어졌다. ‘Keepu’ 팀은 디자인 2건과 상표 3건을 등록·출원했고, ‘도약민’ 팀은 상표 4건과 지역탐방게임 이용 지역연계 보상제공 시스템 특허 1건을 확보했다. ‘코드인사이트’ 팀은 일반저작물 저작권 18건을 등록하며 콘텐츠 기반 창업 가능성을 입증했다.
이 가운데 ‘느림’ 등 8개 팀은 지식재산권 확보를 바탕으로 실제 사업자 등록까지 완료해 기술 기반 학생 창업 성과를 거뒀다. 국립부경대는 현재 학내에 32개 창업동아리를 운영하고 있는 가운데, 이번 성과를 기반으로 학생들이 취업뿐 아니라 창업에도 도전할 수 있도록 지원을 강화할 계획이다.
하명신 RISE사업단장은 “학생들의 지식재산권 창출과 기술기반 창업 성과를 바탕으로 지역과 대학이 함께 성장하는 창업 생태계를 구축해 나가겠다”며 “앞으로도 학생들이 혁신적인 아이디어를 창업으로 연결할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다. <부경투데이>
Pukyong National University Student Startup Clubs Gain Attention with 42 Intellectual Property Achievements

Pukyong National University (President Sang-Hoon Bae) announced that it achieved a total of 42 intellectual property filings and registrations through student startup club activities during the 2025 academic year. A total of 12 startup clubs recorded notable results, including 12 patents, 2 design rights, 10 trademarks, and 18 copyrights.
Pukyong National University, led by its RISE Program Office (Director Myung-Shin Ha), operated initiatives such as “PKNU Startup Club Activity Support” and “Technology-Based Startup Club Support,” helping students gain hands-on entrepreneurial experience―from the idea stage to securing intellectual property rights.
In particular, a number of high-potential patents with strong commercialization prospects were filed across various fields, drawing considerable attention.
The “RefuOcean” team filed a patent for a feed organism cultivation system applicable to the marine and fisheries sector, while the “Pionex” team developed an AI-based vacant house matching platform, presenting an idea that combines solving regional housing issues with entrepreneurship. The “Oasis” team filed patents for a multi-directional multi-stick system and a variable underwater battery system, while the “Neurim” team developed a customized feed composition for carnivorous semi-aquatic turtles. The “Sapota” team filed a patent for a fish anesthetic composition, the “FYO” team for an integrated multi-risk factor safety management system, the “Charim” team for a biochar-based soil conditioner composition, and the “Bimongjamong” team for a method for manufacturing multi-responsive smart packaging films.
Strong outcomes were also achieved in the fields of branding and content. The “Keepu” team filed and registered two design rights and three trademarks, while the “Doyakmin” team secured four trademarks and one patent for a regional exploration game？based reward system linked to local communities. The “Code Insight” team registered 18 copyrights for general works, demonstrating the potential for content-based entrepreneurship.
Among them, eight teams, including “Neurim,” successfully completed business registration based on their secured intellectual property, achieving tangible outcomes in technology-based student entrepreneurship. Pukyong National University currently operates 32 startup clubs on campus and plans to further strengthen support so that students can pursue not only employment, but also entrepreneurial opportunities based on these achievements.
Myung-Shin Ha, Director of the RISE Program Office, stated, “Building on students’ intellectual property creation and technology-based startup achievements, we will continue to develop a startup ecosystem in which the university and the local community grow together.” He added, “We will actively support students so that their innovative ideas can be translated into successful startups.” <Pukyong Today>
