Professor Yeonwon Lee at PKNU, Awarded Prize for 20th Distinguished Scientific and Technological Paper

On 6th of July, the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) presented the 20th Prize for Distinguished Scientific and technological Paper (Engineering Part) to Professor Yeonwon Lee of the Department of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering of Pukyong National University (PKNU).
Prof. Lee was given the annual award by the KOFST for the contribution of his paper to the development of the oceanic science and technology, titled “Numerical Analysis of Flow Characteristics of Air Start Motor in Middle-sized Diesel Marine Engine,” which was published in the Journal of the Korean Society of Marine Engineering.
Prof. Lee is the Dean of the College of Engineering of PKNU and the Director of the Innovation Center for Engineering Education at the same time, which was rated “excellent” for the project assessment in 2009.
KOFST annually selects and grants an award for an outstanding paper among recommended papers since 1991 to encourage scientists and engineers who publish excellent papers through creative activities.<Translator ; Park Si Hyeong, heartfulmind@naver.com>
