'A celebration', PKNU entered 2nd stage of large-scale national financial support project in succession
As a result, Pukyong National University plans to increase the university's competitiveness and cultivating talented human resources and industry-university cooperation by raising 16.5 billion won worth of government subsidy, including 5.5 billion won every year for the next three years until 2021, 'LINC Plus Business' is a national financial support project for strengthening university-industry-university cooperation capability, leading to regional development and cultivating talented individuals customized for companies. Pukyong National University, which was selected as an industry-academy cooperation-enhancing sector in LINC Plus Business In 2017, plans to participate in the second stage of the project and to contribute to the creation of a sustainable regional industrial ecosystem through the cultivation of talents in social-friendly industries. The '4th Industrial Revolution Innovative University Project' is the only business operated by Pukyong National University in the southeastern area to cultivate talented people in the promising fields of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Pukyong National University will cultivate a new industrial field called Smart healthcare and nurture IT engineers who have ability to develop convergence technologies in the super-aged society. The university plans to do its best to educate, research, industry-academia cooperation in the field of smart health care by providing convergence-linked curriculum and creating an on-site working-type maker infrastructure on campus.
