압델라 장관은 “알제리는 지난 2007년부터 모두 43명의 수산공무원들을 부경대에 파견해 수산연수를 받았다.”면서, “이들이 한국에서 익힌 수산관련 지식은 알제리 수산업 진흥과 경제발전에 큰 도움이 되고 있다.”고 말했다. 압델라 장관은 이날 부경대 해양바이오프로세스연구단, 수산질병관리원, 해양용LMO위해성평가센터 등 해양수산연구시설을 둘러보며 수산교류협력에 큰 관심을 나타냈다. 압델라 장관은 박맹언 부경대 총장에게 “부경대는 수산업을 통해 국가발전을 꾀하는 아프리카 국가들의 중요한 동반자.”라면서, “해양수산과 관련한 다양한 연수 프로그램을 개발해 알제리를 비롯한 아프리카를 도와주기 바란다.”고 말했다. 부경대는 지난 2007년부터 한국국제협력단(KOICA)과 공동으로 선진 수산기술을 전수하는 ‘아프리카 초청 수산기술 연수사업’을 진행하고 있으며, 지금까지 22개국 172명의 아프리카 수산관련 공무원, 기업인 등이 참가했다.<부경투데이> The minister of the Ministry of Fishing Industry Resources, Abdellah Khenafou who is 61, visited PKNU, and asked to increase the international exchange in the field of fisheries oceanography.
He attended a ceremony which was held to celebrate on completing the whole courses of 2011 fishery processing and distribution of Algeria in Dongwon Jang Bogo Hall in PKNU. At that time, he spoke as follows. “It is honored to cooperate with PKNU for development of fisheries industry which is the leader in the field of fisheries oceanography. I hope that these courses will be an opportunity to expand the international exchange between Korea and Algeria in this field.” 20 public officials who are working in fishing industry have learned about much knowledge related to fisheries oceanography for the last three weeks. Moreover, he added. “43 public officials who are working in fishing industry had acquired much information by being sent PKNU since 2007. All of the knowledge and the information have helped to develop fishing industry of Algeria.”
He looked around the educational facilities related to fishing industry such as Center for the Control of Fish Diseases, and he showed interest in cooperation for the international exchange in the field of fisheries oceanography.
He said to the president of PKNU, Park Meang Eon. “PKNU is an important companion among African countries which want to develop fishing industry. Therefore, I really hope that PKNU helps them including Algeria by making many useful educational programs related to fishing industry.”
PKNU has been practicing a project which is to teach people the skills related to fishing industry who come from African by inviting them to Korea. 172 African public officials and businessmen who come from 22 African countries have participated in this project. <Pukyong Today>
